제1조 (목적)

이 약관은 Stock Wake(이하 “앱”)를 이용하는 이용자와 개발자 사이의 권리·의무 및 책임 사항을 정합니다.

제2조 (서비스의 내용)

앱은 이용자가 설정한 시각에 알람을 울리고, 이용자가 선택한 종목의 시세와 시장·날씨 정보를 음성으로 안내하는 기능을 제공합니다.

제3조 (서비스의 성격과 한계)

① 앱은 기상을 돕는 보조 도구이며, 안드로이드 운영체제와 기기 제조사의 전원 관리 정책에 의존하여 동작합니다.

② 개발자는 알람이 정상 동작하도록 합리적인 노력(정확 알람 API 사용, 재부팅·앱 업데이트 후 자동 재예약, 권한 상태 진단 및 안내, 알람 미발생 사후 통보 등)을 다하고 있습니다. 다만 다음 사유로 알람이 울리지 않을 수 있음을 이용자에게 고지합니다.

기기 제조사의 절전·앱 종료 정책 (삼성 ‘잠자는 앱’, 그 밖의 제조사 절전 목록 등)
이용자가 시스템 설정에서 앱을 강제 중지한 경우
기기 전원이 꺼져 있거나 배터리가 소진된 경우
알림 권한, 정확한 알람 권한 등 필수 권한이 허용되지 않은 경우
운영체제 업데이트로 알람 관련 동작이 변경된 경우

③ 이용자는 놓칠 경우 손해가 발생할 수 있는 일정에 대해, 기기 기본 시계 앱의 알람 등 별도의 수단을 함께 사용할 것을 권고받았음을 확인합니다. 앱은 이 권고를 최초 실행 시 안내하고, 설정 화면에서 다시 확인할 수 있게 제공합니다.

제4조 (정보의 성격)

① 앱이 제공하는 시세·환율·날씨·경제 일정 정보는 정보 제공 목적이며, 투자 자문이나 투자 권유가 아닙니다.

② 위 정보는 제3자 데이터 제공처로부터 받은 것으로, 제공처의 사정에 따라 지연되거나 부정확할 수 있습니다. 앱은 시세를 실시간으로 받지 못한 경우 마지막으로 받은 값 또는 임의의 예시값을 사용하며, 이 경우 음성 안내와 화면에 그 사실을 표시합니다.

③ 투자 판단과 그 결과는 이용자에게 귀속됩니다.

제5조 (책임)

① 제3조 제②항 및 제4조의 고지에도 불구하고, 개발자의 고의 또는 중대한 과실로 인한 손해에 대한 책임은 배제되지 않습니다.

② 개발자는 앱의 결함을 인지한 경우 합리적인 기간 내에 수정하기 위해 노력합니다.

제6조 (개인정보)

개인정보의 처리에 관한 사항은 개인정보처리방침에 따릅니다.

제7조 (약관의 변경)

이 약관이 변경되는 경우 앱 업데이트 또는 앱 내 안내를 통해 알립니다. 변경된 약관은 공지한 시행일부터 적용됩니다.

Stock Wake Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These terms govern the rights, obligations and responsibilities between users of Stock Wake (the “App”) and the developer.

2. What the App does

The App rings an alarm at a time you choose and reads out quotes for the stocks you select, along with market and weather information.

3. Nature and limits of the service

The App is an aid for waking up. It depends on the Android operating system and on device manufacturers’ power-management policies.
The developer makes reasonable efforts to keep alarms working (using the exact-alarm API, automatically rescheduling after reboot and app updates, diagnosing and explaining permission problems, and reporting afterwards when an alarm did not ring). Even so, the developer discloses that an alarm may fail to ring because of:
1. manufacturer battery-saving or app-termination policies (e.g. Samsung “Sleeping apps”);
2. the user force-stopping the App in system settings;
3. the device being powered off or out of battery;
4. required permissions (notifications, exact alarms) not being granted;
5. changes in alarm behaviour introduced by operating-system updates.
For any schedule where being late could cause harm, the user acknowledges having been advised to also use another means, such as the alarm in the device’s built-in Clock app. The App gives this advice on first launch and makes it available again in Settings.

4. Nature of the information

Quotes, exchange rates, weather and economic-calendar information are provided for information only and are neither investment advice nor a recommendation.
This information comes from third-party providers and may be delayed or inaccurate depending on the provider. When live quotes cannot be retrieved, the App uses the last value it received or a placeholder value, and indicates this in both the spoken briefing and on screen.
Investment decisions and their outcomes rest with the user.

5. Liability

Notwithstanding the disclosures in Sections 3.2 and 4, liability for damages caused by the developer’s wilful misconduct or gross negligence is not excluded.
Where the developer becomes aware of a defect in the App, the developer will make efforts to correct it within a reasonable period.

6. Privacy

Handling of personal information is governed by the Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to these terms

Changes will be announced through an app update or an in-app notice, and take effect from the announced effective date.
